Guided trip terms

These terms apply when you book a guided fishing trip with The Hideaway Outdoors or send a trip request on this website. The shop is at 2585 E 16th Street, Yuma, AZ 85365. Trips and tournaments: Joel Valenzuela, (928) 750-3495. Last updated October 7, 2026.

A request is not a confirmed trip

The request form holds the date you asked for. The trip is confirmed only when the shop tells you it is available and how to pay. A trip product that you pay for at checkout is confirmed when the payment succeeds and you receive the order confirmation, unless the shop contacts you because that date cannot be run.

What the price covers

The product page states whether the price is for the boat or for each angler, how long the trip is, and how many people can go. You bring the license, tackle, and personal gear the shop tells you to bring, unless the product page says those are included. Fuel, ramp fees, and tips are included only when the product page says so.

Licenses and conduct

Each angler is responsible for a valid Arizona fishing license and for following fish and wildlife rules. The guide can end a trip early, without a refund, if a guest is unsafe, intoxicated, or refuses a reasonable safety instruction. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Weather and water

The shop may move or cancel a trip for weather, water conditions, or a mechanical problem. If the shop cancels, you can pick another open date or receive a refund of what you paid the shop for that trip. The shop does not refund travel, lodging, or wages you lose because a trip moves.

If you cancel

Call (928) 783-0010 to cancel. A voicemail or a written message counts when the shop receives it.

Risk

Boating and fishing involve risk, including sun, heat, cold, and the chance of falling or being injured by tackle. You join the trip knowing that. Tell the shop about a medical condition that could matter on the water before the day of the trip.
